The Costa Calida is served by no less than three international airports.......... Alicante, Murcia (San Javier) and Almeria International airport , all three airports are less than two hours away. It is an easy motorway drive from all airports to the apartment.
For those who don’t want to fly, there are regular ferry services from the UK to both Northern Spain and Southern France, which allow you to take advantage of the excellent motorway network to this most spectacular region of Spain.

THE DIRECT ROUTE FROM ALICANTE AIRPORT TO EDIFICIO LA GOLETA
Your total journey distance is approximately 175kms/109 miles,
As you leave the car park of the airport turn left onto the one way road, and the N338, following the signs for Murcia A7/E15.
Join the E15 and continue towards Murcia. Be careful at the junction with the N301 to keep on the E15/N340 following the signs for Alcantarilla/Almeria/Granada.
Keep travelling along the E15 following signs for Almeria, approaching Lorca you enter a tunnel (only one on your journey), immediately after you exit the tunnel, turn off at junction 537 sign posted Lorca Central.
At the first roundabout (fountains) go straight on, at the second roundabout turn right following the signs to Aguilas.C-3211
This road ends at a roundabout, where you must turn right in the direction sign posted Vera onto the A352. You are now two minutes away from the apartment. The hotel is now clearly visible on the left hand side of the road. Follow signposts for Don Juan hotel.
Turn left at the first junction on the left, signpost Aguilas, also Don Juan Hotel.
At the first set of traffic lights turn right, Edificio La Goleta is the apartment block immediately in front of you. The Don Juan hotel is adjacent to the apartment block
THE DIRECT ROUTE FROM MURCIA AIRPORT TO EDIFICIO LA GOLETA
Your total journey distance is approximately 92kms/57 miles,
Aguilas is an easy drive on motorway/dual carriageway the entire journey.
Turn left out of airport in the direction Cartagena and at roundabout turn right in the direction Cartagena / Alicante A-37
Continue on this road A-37 until you reach a roundabout
Take 2nd exit in the direction San Pedro / Alicante A-37
Come off at exit 782 Balsicas/ Murcia onto the C-3319. Go straight over roundabout in the same direction
Fork off in the direction Murcia N-301 and continue on this road
Exit at Junction 399 in the direction Almeria A-7 / Alcantarilla MU30 and continue on this road
Exit at Junction OA/ Almeria / Granada E-15 / N 340. You are now on the E-15, continue on this road

THE DIRECT ROUTE FROM ALMERIA AIRPORT TO 150km = 93 miles
Your total journey distance is approximately 150kms/93 miles,
As you leave the airport parking area itself, turn immediately left and, positioning yourself in the left hand lane, shortly afterwards turn left again around the rear of the car park, following the signs for Almeria.
Follow the road to leave the airport, in the direction sign posted Almeria (E15)/Nijar.
Just before the first roundabout that you come to, take the right hand slip road sign posted Nijar/Murcia (N344) and continue along this road.
You will then approach a second roundabout. Take the left exit sign posted Almeria/Murcia (E15/N340). Travel along this road until just before you reach a third roundabout.
Turn right sign posted Nijar/Murcia (E15) (N340), keep on this road which takes you almost all the way.
Turn off at Junction 537 sign posted Cuevas del Almanzora and as you come off the slip road turn right in the direction sign posted Cuevas del Almanzora on the A332.
This road ends at a T junction, where you must turn left in the direction sign posted Cuevas del Almanzora onto the A352. This road will take you to Aguilas, and the apartment.
Approaching Aguilas take the first right hand turning sign posted Aguilas also Don Juan Hotel.
